Foxtail Rava Dosa

Ingredients:

  • Instant Multi Millet Dosa Mix:
  • Foxtail idli rava (6%), Foxtail flour (6%), Kodo Millet Idli Rava (6%), Kodo Millet Flour (6%), Urad dal (29%), Wheat rava (15%), Rice flour, Corn flour, Citric acid (INS330), Salt, Sodium Bicarbonate (E500)

  • Instant Millet Foxtail Dosa Mix:
  • Foxtail idli rava (12%), Foxtail flour (12%), Urad dal (29%), Wheat rava (15%), Rice flour, Corn flour, Citric acid (INS330), Salt, Sodium Bicarbonate (E500)

  • Instant Millet Jowar Dosa Mix:
  • Jowar idli rava (12%), Jowar flour (12%), Urad dal (29%), Wheat rava (15%), Rice flour, Corn flour, Citric acid (INS330), Salt, Sodium BiCarbonate (E500)

Dosa Recipe:

Instructions for Instant Dosa Mix:

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of Eat Millet mix dosa.
  2. Add 2 tablespoons of chopped coriander leaves, 1 teaspoon of cumin seeds, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, and 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda to the dry ingredients.
  3. Mix well to combine all the ingredients.
  4. Store the instant dosa mix in an airtight container until ready to use.

Instructions for Making Dosas:

  1. When ready to make dosas, take the desired amount of the instant dosa mix in a bowl (approximately 1/2 cup for 2 persons).
  2. Gradually add water while stirring continuously to make a smooth batter. The consistency should be similar to that of pancake batter.
  3. Heat a non-stick skillet or dosa pan over medium heat. Once hot, pour a ladleful of batter onto the center of the skillet.
  4. Using the back of the ladle, spread the batter in a circular motion to form a thin dosa.
  5. Drizzle a little oil around the edges of the dosa and cook until the edges start to brown and crisp up, and the bottom is golden brown.
  6. Flip the dosa and cook for another minute or until the other side is golden brown and crisp.
  7. Remove the dosa from the skillet and serve hot with chutney or sambar.
