Instructions for Making IDLI RAVA:

  1. Clean 1/2 cup of Eat Millet idli rava to remove any impurities.
  2. Heat a pan and dry roast the idli rava for 10 to 15 minutes on medium heat until it turns aromatic. Set it aside.
  3. In a separate pot, add 1/2 cup of water and 1/2 cup of palm jaggery. Stir well until the jaggery is completely dissolved. Then, strain this mixture to remove any impurities and set it aside.
  4. In a kadai or skillet, heat 1/2 tablespoon of ghee. Add 1 tablespoon of chopped coconut and 1 tablespoon of cashew nuts and roast them until they turn golden brown. Set them aside.
  5. Pour the strained jaggery water back into the kadai and add 1/2 teaspoon of green cardamom powder. Bring it to a boil and then turn off the flame.
  6. Gradually add the roasted Eat Millet idli rava into the jaggery water, stirring continuously to avoid lumps. Use a whisk if necessary.
  7. Once all the idli rava is mixed in, turn on the stove and cook the mixture while stirring continuously.
  8. Add 1/2 teaspoon of ghee and a pinch of salt to the mixture. Stir well.
  9. Cook the mixture until it thickens and forms a dough-like consistency.
  10. Remove the mixture from heat and let it cool slightly.
  11. Grease your hands with a little ghee and shape the mixture into small dumplings.
  12. Serve the instant idli rava warm and enjoy!

Adjust the sweetness or add more flavors according to your preference. Enjoy your Eat Millet instant idli rava for two!
